Description
RountreeJazz is the University of Wisconsin – Platteville faculty jazz ensemble in residence. The members bring a wide array of musical backgrounds and experiences, and share in a desire to create and promote new music. Our programs showcase original compositions, with the exception of music of jazz composers current and past who represent the essence of the direction that we, RountreeJazz envision as the future of Jazz music.

Description
The Center for the Arts (CFA) provides a professional performing arts environment for students to learn about the arts through performances and classroom experience. Quality, professional performances are produced all year long by the UWP Fine Arts Department. The Center for the Arts also presents a series of outstanding professional touring events in the Performing Arts Series. These performances have included The Vienna Choir Boys, The Milwaukee Symphony, Chanticleer, The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Gaelic Storm, The Three Irish Tenors, The Russian State Chorus and many others. The Center for the Arts is also home to the UWP Summer Heartland Festival.
